Aston Villa’s Jhon Duran prefers Milan move this month

Aston Villa and Milan continue to negotiate on a loan deal for forward Jhon Duran but no agreement has been reached.

According to an update by Sky Italia, Aston Villa forward Jhon Duran prefers a move to Serie A side Milan this winter transfer window. The Rossoneri have already contacted the Premier League club about the possibility of taking the Colombian on a loan deal with an option to buy. 

Crucial days ahead for the 20-year-old as Stefano Pioli’s side will enter into serious negotiations with The Villans but the latter are reluctant to add the obligation to buy option to the deal. Duran has featured in 14 games across all competitions this term and has registered two goals. He possesses huge potential for the coming years and Villa does not want to miss out on that.

A permanent transfer is not a prospect at this stage for Milan as they are not willing to dig into their resources. A definite agreement is yet to be reached between both parties as the player is expected to be pushing internally his club to accept the loan proposal.
