How Barcelona’s Dressing Room Is Reacting to Possible Messi Return, per Report

Hopes are high at FC Barcelona that Lionel Messi will return to Camp Nou this summer when his contract with Paris Saint-Germain expires in June.

Spanish media outlet Sport has even gone as far as to take the temperature of the Barcelona dressing room with rumors that the Catalan side has already made an offer to Messi. 

While questioning the dressing room, Sport spoke with various players, who all are excited about the possibility of seeing the 35-year-old back with Barcelona. 

Sport spoke with Marc-André ter Stegen and the German goalkeeper reportedly told the outlet that he would be delighted with Messi’s return as it boosts to make the club more competitive.

Meanwhile, Ousmane Dembélé, for his part, would be convinced that the return of the 2022 FIFA World Cup winner is excellent news for the project under current manager Xavi. 

Robert Lewandowski would be on the same wavelength, as he confided at the end of December: “He is today the player alongside whom any striker would dream of playing. “

Sergio Busquets is coming to the end of his contract in June but would consider extending one more year, delaying his farewell with Camp Nou to play alongside Messi again.

The supporters aren’t the only ones hoping Barcelona can reunite with the Argentine this summer if the reporting from the players is accurate.
