Italy remain at the very top of the UEFA Coefficient Ranking after the first legs of four Champions League games were played recently.
One Italian side played this week in the Champions League, as Lazio hosted Bayern Munich and picked up a deserved 1-0 victory over the German giants. England had one side involved, as Manchester City picked up a 3-1 win over Danish side Copenhagen.
This has brought about changes in the UEFA Co-Efficient rankings, especially for England. Italy remain on top with 14,285 points after Lazio beat Bayern. England climbed up to second after City’s win, and they now have 13,875 points and it would’ve been different if Bayern had beaten the Biancocelesti.
UPDATE: Race for extra UCL places after opening first legs.
1 Italy 14.285
2 England 13.875
–
3 Germany 13.642
4 Spain 12.937
