Mike Dunleavey Jr Hired As Warriors General Manager

The Golden State Warriors have hired Mike Dunleavy Jr. as the franchise's new general manager. Dunleavy replaces Bob Myers, who stepped down from the role following this past season. Dunleavy played in the NBA for 15 seasons. He started his career with the Warriors, but also played for the Indiana Pacers, Milwaukee Bucks, Chicago Bulls, Cleveland Cavaliers and Atlanta Hawks. Following his playing career, Dunleavy joined Golden State as a scout in 2018. A year later, he was promoted to assistant general manager. In 2021, Dunleavy was promoted to vice president of basketball operations. He'll now run the Warriors front office, as the primary decision maker.
