Napoli’s move for Udinese’s Lazar Samardžić ‘practically done’

Napoli are now very close to signing Udinese star Lazar Samardžić and are approaching the finishing line regarding the move.

Il Mattino today (via CalcioNapoli24) have provided some details about Napoli’s chase of the Serbian. They state that a move is practically done and the turning point is very close in the saga.

A fee has pretty much been agreed between Napoli and Udinese, with the Partenopei expected to pay around €25 million and replace Eljif Elmas with the Udinese star. The question of bonuses is yet to be settled, but that will be addressed quickly once personal terms are agreed.

Personal terms are also all but agreed, as the 21-year-old father is speaking to Aurelio de Laurentiis and an agreement of around €2.5 million per season exists. There is also a possibility that Lazar Samardžić could start against Torino in the club’s next game.

Talks with the player’s father were ongoing for the last couple of days and it seems as if the move is about to reach completion.
