NBA, NBPA Distribute New 676-Page CBA 48 Hours Before Start Of Free Agency
The NBA and NBPA have signed their new Collective Bargaining Agreement and have shared the 676-page document with teams approximately 48 hours before the start of the 2023 free agency period. The deal becomes effective on July 1st and runs through the 29-30 season. The two parties came to agreement on the new CBA on April 1st, but many of the details were worked through in the subsequent months.
