Nuggets Considered Trading Up To No. 10 For Jalen Williams
At the 2022 NBA draft, the Denver Nuggets considered trading up with the Washington Wizards for the No. 10 pick as they targeted Jalen Williams. Williams was selected 12th overall by the Oklahoma City Thunder and finished second in Rookie of the Year voting. The Nuggets acquired Kentavious Caldwell-Pope from the Wizards and also used the No. 21 pick on Christian Braun. Braun became a rotation wing for the Nuggets in his own right as a rookie.
