PSG’s Mind Games? Barcelona Believes They’re Being Used in Mbappé Talks – Report

Paris Saint-Germain appears set in wanting to move on from Kylian Mbappé this summer transfer window. The capital club doesn’t want to lose the 24-year-old on a free transfer next year.

Several names are surfacing for the Frenchman and the latest is FC Barcelona. However, the Catalan side might feel they’re being used in this saga. Cadena COPE’s Helena Condis reports that Barcelona believes PSG uses them in the Mbappé file. 

From Barcelona they see all this as a strategy, a pressure maneuver from PSG. Barcelona believes that PSG is using them in the Mbappé case.

A recent report revealed that the Spanish club is willing to include players to offset the cost for Mbappé. If Barcelona does want to get serious and pursue the 2018 FIFA World Cup winner, it will be a significant blow for Real Madrid.

It seems Los Blancos are content with waiting to see if the PSG star becomes a free agent. However, should teams continue to lurk and make interesting pitches to the forward, it will be interesting to see if Real Madrid remains patient. 

The Ligue 1 giants likely want to put this saga behind them and begin the Luis Enrique era.
