HENDERSON, Nev. — On the first snap of 11-on-11 drills Friday, Las Vegas Raiders receiver Davante Adams went to make a short catch over the middle and was laid out by San Francisco 49ers cornerback Charvarius Ward. When Adams stayed down on the field in pain afterward, players and coaches from both teams immediately huddled around him. Adams was obviously in discomfort when he was eventually helped to his feet by the Raiders’ training staff.
