Sergio Ramos Issues Heartfelt Message Annoucing His Departure from PSG

Sergio Ramos’ final match at Paris Saint-Germain will come on Saturday when the reigning Ligue 1 champions will square off with Clermont Foot.

PSG announced on Friday that Ramos will leave the club after this season as a free agent.

Ramos took to Twitter after the Ligue 1 side’s announcement on this matter, and he bid farewell to the club ahead of his final match donning a PSG jersey.

“Tomorrow is a special day, tomorrow I will say goodbye to another stage of my life, goodbye to PSG,” Ramos wrote. “I don’t know in how many places one can feel at home, but without a doubt PSG, the fans, and Paris were one of them for me.

“Thank you for two special years in which I was able play in every tournament and give my all. I will face new challenges, I will wear other colours, but first, and for the last time: Allez Paris.”

Ramos won three trophies during his run at PSG. He played an instrumental role in PSG’s Ligue 1-winning run this season, tallying 32 appearances in league play.

As will be the case with Lionel Messi, Ramos will be able to sign with any club on a free transfer deal after this season.
