Tottenham in talks with Genoa for Radu Drăgușin

Premier League giants Tottenham Hotspur are interested in the possibility of signing Genoa defender Radu Drăgușin in January.

Drăgușin has been linked with a host of clubs across the last few weeks and that includes the likes of Manchester United and Atalanta. Spurs were also linked with a move and it seems as if they will go through with a move.

Fabrizio Romano has reported that Spurs have decided to progress with a move for the Romanian, who previously plied his trade with Juventus. Tottenham have held talks with Genoa and while talks for Jean-Clair Todibo are also on, Drăgușin is now the top of the shortlist.

They are expected to make an offer to Genoa soon, with manager Ange Postecoglou having given his approval regarding a move for the 21-year-old.

Drăgușin has impressed for Genoa this season, also having scored against Inter yesterday. He has been the best in the league for aerial duels won and has shown an impeccable ability to defend the spaces around, while recovering very well in defensive positions. Those abilities will come in very handful for Postecoglou’s high-line system.
