He has trained and he looks good. “I think Leo and Tata [Martino] will decide when and if he plays on Friday, but the atmosphere here will be amazing and hopefully we can get the win.” If he is held back, Messi could feature in Miami’s Leagues Cup encounter against Atlanta United on July 25. His MLS debut however won’t materialise for another month due to the Leagues Cup causing a break in the regular league season.  His first game will likely be on Sunday, August 20 when Inter Miami return to league action against Charlotte FC.  Miami are seriously struggling this season and are currently on an 11-game winless streak, sitting bottom of the Eastern Conference in the MLS.
