Agent of Napoli’s Victor Osimhen arrives at club training for vital meeting

Roberto Calenda, Victor Osimhen’s agent, arrived at Napoli’s training camp so that he could hold important talks with the club surrounding his client’s future, Gazzetta have reported. Calenda had previously gone to the camp two days ago, but the meeting was not able to take place.

Napoli have agreed with Osimhen a two year contract extension. His current deal lasts until 2025, and the plan is to keep him in Naples until 2027. There is a lot of noise coming from Saudi Arabia, but Osimhen is keen to move forward with Napoli and is not thinking about a move away.

The Nigerian striker will see his salary increase from €4.5 million to €7 million a season. He will be hoping for another great season, after he was the main man in helping Napoli win the Scudetto last season.

The club are aware that Osimhen is hot property and will be a big target for many of the top clubs in Europe at some point, which is why they have given their striker a big contract and shown how much they value him.
