Brown has a $6.8 million player option for next season. If he opts out, the most the Nuggets can pay Brown is $7.8 million by using his non-Bird rights. Brown is expected to have offers for at least the Non-Taxpayer Mid-Level Exception, which starts at $12.2 million. But Brown said his fit with Denver matters a lot. "It's a perfect fit," Brown said.
