Antonio Conte on potential Juventus return: “You can always dream and hope”

Former Tottenham and Inter boss Antonio Conte has spoken about the possibility of a return to Juventus in the future.

Conte has been without a job since the end of his Spurs side in the second half of last season. He was linked with the Napoli job, but the Italian rejected it as he wanted to stay close to his family. During his Spurs stint, the manager was also linked with Juventus multiple times.

Conte spoke at an event at the University of Salento (via La Gazzetta dello Sport) recently and he was asked about a potential return to Juve in the future. Conte revealed that he probably hopes to return to the Bianconeri, where he also spent his best years as a player during his career.

“Marriages are done in two, you can always dream and hope to get married another time.”

The ex-Chelsea boss is currently on a sabbatical but he was asked about a potential return to management and he stated: “The important thing is that there is sharing of thoughts. But now I want to make the most of my free time, continuing to study to broaden my knowledge.”    

Conte was also linked with a move to Roma earlier in the season when the Giallorossi started off their season poorly, but it seems as if the Italian may not be back to management this season.
