Inter offered the chance to sign Daichi Kamada

Inter have been offered the chance to sign Japanese free agent Daichi Kamada. 

La Gazzetta dello Sport understand that the player’s agent has approached the Nerazzuri to offer his client in the belief that Inter would be keen to add to their midfield options following the departures of Marcelo Brozovic and Roberto Gagliardini. 

Kamada, who has been without a club since his contract with Eintract Frankfurt expired at the end of June, was at one stage expected to join Inter’s rivals Milan before they made moves for Christian Pulisic and Ruben Loftus-Cheek. A move to Maurizio Sarri’s Lazio was also mooted before quickly being squashed by their club president Claudio Lotito.

Kamada would offer Inter real versatility as he has played in central midfield, wide on the wing and even behind the striker in his time in Germany. He has also appeared for Japan’s national team 29 times and has scored six times.
