It is hoped the Cameroon goalkeeper will join up with his new teammates ahead of the clash with Arsenal in New York on Friday before games against Wrexham, Real Madrid and Borussia Dortmund in the US. United will round off their preparations for the new season with games against Lens at Old Trafford and Athletic Bilbao in Dublin. Following the deal for Onana, United are expected to switch their attention to signing Atalanta striker Rasmus Hojlund. United have already landed Mason Mount from Chelsea in a £55m deal.
