Man United agree £47m deal for Andre Onana with goalkeeper set to join tour ahead of Arsenal clash
Manchester United have agreed a fee of around £47million with Inter Milan to sign goalkeeper Andre Onana. The 27-year-old is set for a medical and is expected to sign a five-year contract after the Premier League club met Inter Milan’s valuation. It is hoped the Cameroon goalkeeper will join up with his new teammates ahead of the clash with Arsenal in New York on Friday before games against Wrexham, Real Madrid and Borussia Dortmund in the US. United will round off their preparations for the new season with games against Lens at Old Trafford and Athletic Bilbao in Dublin. Following the deal for Onana, United are expected to switch their attention to signing Atalanta striker Rasmus Hojlund. United have already landed Mason Mount from Chelsea in a £55m deal.
