Messi’s production with PSG isn’t stopping the conversations about whether the capital club should extend the forward. The Argentine’s contract expires in June and discussions over a new deal have reportedly stalled.

FC Barcelona wants to reunite with the player; however, their financial situation is a significant hurdle. It will be interesting to see where Messi lands this summer, but it seems he wants to play in Europe, which rules out a move to MLS.
