Milan prepare for Europa League clash against Stade Rennes with grave injury crisis

With the Rossonerri preparing for their significant mid-week fixture against Ligue 1 outfits Stade Rennes in the Europa League knockout phase, Milan are faced with a serious injury crisis heading into European match-up.

MilanNews reports that coach Stefano Pioli has deemed Fikayo Tomori, Pierre Kalulu, Tommaso Pobega, and skipper Davide Calabria as unavailable for the vital clash on Thursday evening at the Stadio San Siro. 

Despite Kalulu commencing an individual training program at Milanello, the French international will not be ready in time for Thursday’s block-buster fixture.

However, the Rossoneri boss has been handed a boost in the defensive department as German youngster Malick Thiaw and veteran Simon Kjaer have resumed training this week. 

It remains to be seen how the Italian tactician will set up his squad ahead of the Rossonerri’s vital clash against French side Stade Rennes after Milan coming off an impressive 1-0 victory over Napoli in the league within their home stomping ground in courtesy of a lovely finish from star full-back Theo Hernandez.
