Monaco interested in Torino’s Wilfried Singo

Wilfried Singo could leave Torino in the coming days, according to Alfredo Pedullà. Monaco are the front-runners for his signature, and are ready to put €15 million on the table to acquire the Ivorian.

Monaco have recently completed the signing of Denis Zakaria, and are looking to continue shopping in Italy. Singo is a talented right back, and has proven himself to be a useful asset for Torino, having started 76 league games in the last three seasons.

Singo’s contract will expire next June, and there will be discussions with Atalanta for an exchange that would include the transfer of Brandon Soppy. The problem is that Soppy, in the last couple of days, has said that he would prefer a transfer abroad.

Monaco kicked off the new league campaign yesterday, with a 4-2 win over Clermont Foot. Controversially, Wissam Ben Yedder started and scored twice. He did however receive plenty of boos from the the crowd.
