Napoli make offer for Udinese’s Beto

Napoli are interested in Udinese striker Beto and they have already made their first offer for the Portuguese striker.

Beto has been previously linked with moves to clubs across Europe and Napoli have always been one. Gianluca di Marzio has reported that Napoli are already thinking about building for next season and have already made contact to potentially sign Beto in the summer.

They have made an offer of €25 million for the 25-year-old Lisbon born star but as things stand, Udinese want as much as €35 million to part ways with their prized asset. His release clause is of that amount and Udinese do not want to go below that to sell him, as things stand.

Contacts and relations between the clubs are positive and there remains a possibility of adding a player in the deal, as talks move on in the next few days and weeks. As things stand, Napoli do not want to spend €35 million to sign Beto, as it is currently a precautionary move in case Victor Osimhen leaves.

The Partenopei also like two other Udinese players, with one being midfielder Lazar Samardzic and Becao is also a target, with his contract expiring in the summer of 2024.
