Napoli offer €37 million to Atalanta for Teun Koopmeiners

Serie A giants Napoli have made an offer for Atalanta midfielder Teun Koopmeiners.

Il Mattino today state that La Dea are now starting to waiver in their insistence on keeping Koopmeiners at the club, with Napoli having put forward a fee of €37 million for the Dutchman. Atalanta’s initial demand was €50 million but they are now starting to consider a sale.

Aurelio de Laurentiis is waiting to formalise Piotr Zielinski’s exit from the club, with the Pole having agreed personal terms with Al Ahli and talks with Napoli will take place soon to agree a fee for the exit.

Koopmeiners has, meanwhile, given his approval to a move to the Partenopei but an agreement between the clubs is missing. A move for Gabri Veiga is also edging close, as Napoli look to close down the gap between their offer and Celta Vigo’s demands and there is currently a difference of about €5 million between both the parties.
