Napoli star Piotr Zielinski close to Al Ahli move

Napoli star Piotr Zielinski is close to a move to Saudi Arabian side Al Ahli this summer.

La Gazzetta dello Sport report today that Zielinski has now been convinced about accepting the offer from Al Ahli, who are now in direct contact with Napoli for negotiations over a transfer fee. Aurelio de Laurentiis wants a fee of between €25 million and €30 million for the Pole, whose contract expires next year.

Zielinski is being offered a hefty wage of €15 million per season, which is five times of what he currently earns at the Partenopei. Initially, he wasn’t too keen on accepting a change in culture and lifestyle. But he has now made the hard choice of making the decision to head to the Middle East.

Once Zielinski leaves, Napoli will go ahead with the move for Gabri Veiga, who is close to arriving at the Partenopei. There is already an agreement with the player, with an agreement with Celta now edging closer.
