PREDICTED LINE-UPS | Genoa v Juventus

Juventus will aim to stretch their unbeaten run to 11 consecutive matches when they face 14th-placed Genoa tonight at the Luigi Ferraris.

Genoa started their season slow but took on the league’s big guns with pride as they drew 2-2 with Napoli and cruised to a 4-1 victory against Roma. Since losing to Milan at the start of October, Rossoblu have managed to seal two clean sheets in three home games, conceding only once. Alberto Gilardino’s side are fairly clear of the relegation zone for now and they could pull another upset tonight if they play their cards right. Genoa will miss their star striker Mateo Retegui for the match and a defensive tactic is expected to be followed throughout the game.

Meanwhile, Juventus have mastered a three-month unbeaten run coming into this match. Massimiliano Allegri have led his team to secure narrow 1-0 victories during most games as they defeated Napoli last week, Fiorentina, and Milan and held league leaders Inter to a 1-1 draw. The Bianconeri can provisionally go top of the Serie A table if they get the win tonight and this matchday could officially crown them as the leaders as the Nerazzurri have a challenging task against Lazio.

Here are the predicted line-ups for the match according to Sky Italia:

Genoa (3-5-2): Martinez; Dragusin, Bani, Vasquez; Sabelli, Malinovskyi, Badelj, Frendrup, Haps; Gudmundsson, Messias

Juventus (3-5-2): Szczesny; Gatti, Bremer, Danilo; Cambiaso, McKennie, Locatelli, Rabiot, Kostic; Chiesa, Vlahovic
