Victim of Roma’s sexgate scandal to be heard today

The victim of the sexgate scandal at Roma will be heard by the chief prosecutor today, with the Serie A side currently under the scanner for the issue.

The issue dates back to October 2023, when a x-rated video of a female club employee was leaked and shared amongst teammates by a Roma Primavera player. The female employee was let go by the Giallorossi, while the players and the player who leaked the video faced no action. The partner of the employee was also at the club and he was also fired.

La Gazzetta dello Sport today state that the Federal Prosecutor’s Office continues to work on the case and they want to be clear on the story of the female employee as soon as possible. As a result, chief prosecutor Giuseppe Chine will speak to the female employee and the location of the meeting has been kept a secret.

The hearings will not stop after the employee. In addition to the female’s boyfriend, the Giallorossi CEO Lina Souloukou will be heard – perhaps already today (club owner Dan Friedkin is in Rome, but at the moment he is not on Chinè’s list of people called up). The club’s lawyer Lorenzo Vitali, author of the letter with which the two were shown the door, will also be spoken to.
