PREDICTED LINE-UPS | Lazio v Juventus

Juventus will aim to reclaim second position in the league standings in the next few games and the charge begins tomorrow against Lazio. 

Lazio came back to winning ways with a 3-2 victory over Frosinone in their last Serie A match. They had suffered four consecutive defeats across all competitions before the win and therefore had to part ways with former manager Maurizio Sarri. Igor Tudor is now at the helm of the club and he has a challenging run of fixtures coming up with the Biancocelesti set to face Genoa, Roma and Juventus thrice within a month. Currently sitting ninth in the league standings, Lazio’s dreams of Europa League football for next season are fading but they are very much in contention to qualify for the Conference League if they manage to win a couple in the business end of the campaign.

Meanwhile, Juventus come into this match on the back of a winless run of three matches in a row. Since the victory over Frosinone at the end of February, the Bianconeri have suffered a defeat to Napoli and drew with Atalanta and Genoa. This 7-point drop was enough for chasing pack Milan to claim second spot in the table. It is still some time to go before the curtain calls in for the season and Massimiliano Allegri knows that consistency is the key to setting the team in perfect momentum. A brace from Dusan Vlahovic and Federico Chiesa’s goal was enough for Juventus to dispose of Lazio in the reverse fixture earlier this season and they will be hoping for a reversal of the result tomorrow. ‘
