Inter in constant contact for Atalanta’s Merih Demiral

Inter are interested in signing Atalanta’s Merih Demiral this summer and are in constant contact for the Turkish defender.

Alfredo Pedulla has reported about Inter’s interest in the defender, who wants to move to the Nerazzurri and that has been his wish since the January transfer window when he was seen as a potential replacement for the departing Milan Skriniar. Now that the Slovak has left, his name is back in fashion.

Contacts between the two clubs are alive and a decision needs to be made about the sort of agreement they want to find. La Dea do not want to loan him out this summer and there is a possibility of an inclusion of a player in the deal. That player could be Giovanni Fabbian, who impressed at Reggina last summer.

Another option for Inter for the right sided centre-back berth could be Chelsea’s Trevoh Chalobah, who has also been of interest in the past.
